We were very pleased with Lexar’s Single Slot Multi-Card Reader and appreciated its durability, compact size and unique design. We wanted to see more versatility in the card reading capabilities but appreciated that the external card reader worked with all promised flash cards. The all-in-one card reader is easy to use and has an excellent company backing it up.

Lexar’s external card reader has a unique design that separates it from all other flash card readers. The top of the card reader actually pops open and the memory card is slid into the center of the reader. Once the card has been inserted into the reader you can plug it into your computer’s USB port and enjoy a fast and easy upload. The card reader is made of plastic and is slightly larger than an average sized flash drive.

The Lexar flash card reader is compatible with the following types of flash cards:

• Secure Digital (SD) Cards
• Memory Stick Cards
• Memory Stick PRO Cards
• MultiMediaCards
• ExtremeDigital (xD) Picture Cards

Each card type worked well with the external card reader, and we had no problems getting the card reader to recognize or begin transfers with any of the compatible options.

Necessary drivers will automatically download for users to use the external card reader, and no software is required which makes using the flash card reader easy and convenient.

We were pleased with the resources that we found online for the Lexar Single Slot Multi-Card Reader. Through the Support tab at the top of the page users find a list of every product offered by Lexus. Finding the card reader among the list of all Lexar products was a hassle, but once we found the flash card reader we were able to quickly retrieve all of the resources available.

The website provides FAQs, an owner’s manual and warranty information. Lexar is one of the few companies that provide an owner’s manual with the external card reader but it is always appreciated. In addition to the information they also offer great customer support. They provide an email address, telephone number and online chat option for users to get in touch with a representative. We were very pleased with the help that we received and the variety of options they provided. It made it easy and convenient for us to ask questions and get answers in a timely and efficient manner.
